Tetris: The Motion Picture

Given just how successful big budget blockbusters based on old games have been recently, it's not really surprising that someone had the brilliant idea to create a trailer for a Tetris movie in the style of Michael Bay. Just like Battleship and Transformers, this trailer has all of the same beats: unknown alien entities, climactic showdowns between man and monster, the damsel in distress, the plucky hero saving the day at the last minute, and huge destructive battles with a lot of CGI.

YouTube user Warialasky really gets what makes those dumb movies fun in a stupid sort of way, and brilliantly created this trailer to simultaneously mock and adore them. As an homage to these cheesy sci-fi blockbusters, it's hard to get more spot-on than this.
