Stand On The Rain-Slick Precipice Of Darkness Once More

The forces of mimery will finally fall this summer.

By Dylan Coffey on 4/6/2012
Penny Arcade Adventures: On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is a wonderfully obscure piece of absurdist RPG perfection. Sadly, the series was cancelled before its third and final iteration due to poor sales despite some truly sadistic and unique anti-DRM measures. Fans of Penny Arcade and  On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will be elated to hear that developer Zeboyd Games, the studio behind smash indie hits  Breath of Death VII and   Cthulhu Saves The World, has picked up the third and final installment of the series.

The Penny Arcade folks will have less of a hands-on approach this time around, with writer Jerry Hollins (aka Tycho) serving as an adviser to Robert Boyd, co-founder of Zeboyd Studios. Furthermore, the plot of the belated conclusion to the trilogy will be mostly disconnected with the previous two titles; though "there's lots of connections to the past two games" newbies to the precipice should be able to enjoy it fully. Expect  On The Rain-Slick Precipice Of Darkness: Part Three some time this summer.
