Sly Cooper Thieves in Time Announced for PS Vita

Everyone's favorite thieving raccoon is now portable

While one of the Playstation 3's flagship exclusive titles, Sly Cooper, has had another title in the works for some time now, Sony now confirms that the latest game in the series will also be making its way to the PS Vita. Announced at E3 2011, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will now also be available for Sony's latest handheld system.

The trailer listed above seems to hit all of the high notes that fans expect of the portable system. SIxaxis Motion controls, portable gaming, easy swapping between the Playstation 3 and PS Vita, and fantastic graphics that rival the main console. Given that Sly Cooper is set to appear in Sony's upcoming Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, his latest game will no doubt be fantastic.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is set to be released later this year for the Playstation 3 and PS Vita.

Hmm, this looks like a way for the PS3 to compete with the Wii U,  while pushing the PS Vita at the same time. Pretty clever.

This is going to come out for the PSVita, too. It will have the ability to share saves with the PS3 one. Really looking forward to it.
