Portal 2 "Perpetual Testing" Level Editor DLC Imminent

 Portal 2 is an awesome game. So awesome, in fact, that it won The Game Effect's Best FPS of 2011 award as well as Golden Joystick Ultimate Game of the Year award. The only thing that could possibly make it better is an official level editor. You know, kind of like the one that Valve confirmed today will be finally arriving in May! The level editor DLC, entitled "Perpetual Testing," will come available for free on May 8th via Steam.

Other players' levels will also be available for download via Steam. It's been almost a year since Valve announced the level editor and, to be frank, we're impressed to see it coming out so quickly. We will obviously withhold judgment on the robustness of its features until it is released, but suffice to say that this DLC will revitalize the  Portal 2 community in myriad ways, not the least of which are comprised of elaborate marriage proposals.
