House of the Dead 4 Getting April PSN Release
The classic arcade shooter series is receiving a Move-compatible revamp.
The arcade-style shooter is a staple of video gaming, and The House of the Dead is a paragon of that genre. With spectacular special effects, a high degree of difficulty, and - of course - zombies galore, The House of the Dead has been a favorite both in arcades and at home. The tradition lives on with The House of the Dead 4, which was just confirmed for a PlayStation Network release on April 17th by a PlayStation Blog post earlier today. This iteration of The House of the Dead will include PlayStation Move support - not surprising considering the game's point-and-shoot peripheral origins. Presumably, it will also be compatible with such arcade-at-home peripherals, such as the GunCons that came with Time Crisis 3. The game features replayability in the form of multiple story paths, multiplayer co-op, and a ranking system to help improve your game. Keep an eye out for The House of the Dead 4, priced at $9.99, if you're a fan of arcade shooters.
