Final Fantasy VII Stop Motion Movie Is Epic

Cloud and Sephiroth clash once again.

By Josh Garwood on 6/21/2011
In a production that could rival the best of stop-motion films, this Counter 656 creation showcases robot dismemberment, intensely choreographed battles, and surprisingly appropriate special effects, all juxtaposed atop a soundtrack featuring "One Winged Angel."

Amidst the action, spells, and swordsmanship, though, is an unspoken tale of protection and fortitude that once again pits Cloud against Sephiroth.  The choreography really is the highlight of this show however, and despite being filmed completely with actions figures (presumably from the Play Arts Kai collection), the battle sequences are remarkably smooth and precise.  This is definitely worth watching for any Final Fantasy fan.

This is so awesome! How much time did it take to make this? I guess very very long. I wish I would be able to do awesome stop motion movies, too :o
