The Game Effect Editorial

Hahaha, I just got into watching Buffy about a month ago on Netflix. I'm completely addicted. Anyway, I probably wont watch many of these except Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Not that into many new TV shows but I'll turn on the TV for Snoopy.
- Do you actually get a chance to watch all of them or is this just a list of shows that are said to be good?
- Of all of these shows, which ones do you like? I see your reviews of Always Sunny and The Office, and they seem to be...underwhelming.
On a side note, Crazy Turkey Marathons Batman!
While we don't get a chance to watch every show on this list each week, we have seen at least one episode and make recommendations from those experiences.
As far as preferences, it largely depends on what genres you're into, or what you're in the mood for. Generally speaking though, Dexter is one of the best TV series of all time (my personal favorite alongside Breaking Bad). In fact, most any of the shows airing on Sunday are noteworthy. Boardwalk Empire and Hell on Wheels are both great period pieces (but will likely turn off those who aren't fans of the period).
Aside from Sundays on AMC and ShoTime, American Horror Story is a very well done (and frankly damn scary - to me at least) show that just got picked up for a second season, so it's definitely worth investing in.
For comedies, I would recommend The Office (even though this is not a great season, it still has its moments), Parks and Rec, New Girl (surprisingly hilarious at times), Happy Endings (a bit more "mushy" but also can be very funny), and Always Sunny (crazy funny, if you can handle the at times super vulgarity).
Also, Chuck (airing Wednesdays) is one another one of my all time favorite shows. However, if you haven't seen it to this point, I would recommend starting with season 1. It's hilarious, very well written and acted, features Yvonne Stahovsky (reason enough to watch), and a frequently incorporates geek humor into the show. I highly recommend Chuck :)
Probably more than you cared to know, but that's my TV synopsis for the time being. Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions!
