The Last of Us Collectibles Guide

Artifacts, Comics, Firefly Pendants, and Training Manuals

 The Last of Us is filled to the brim with collectibles, each of which adds an important element to the story: artifacts help fill in the missing pieces of a mission; training manuals help Joel craft more advanced items; Firefly pendants serve as dog tags to fallen Firefly soldiers; and comics serve as a reminder of the past. Each collectible is worth taking a trip off the beaten path, which is why we have compiled a list of each collectible and its location.

Collectibles are separated by chapter, then by sub-chapters, in the order they can be collected. If you miss a collectible, I recommend you wait until you reach the next sub-section of the chapter, then restart the previous one. If you are able to "Restart Encounter" to get a collectible, you may also do that as well. You can check and see which collectibles you missed by backing out to the main menu, selecting "Chapters," and scrolling through the completed chapters' lists of collectibles.

*IMPORTANT*

Many users are reporting issues with trophies not triggering. Check your statistics page to see if you missed any collectibles before assuming it is a glitch. Always make sure you read (and flip over) each artifact so it actually counts as collected. I also suggest checking after each section of a chapter to make sure you are on track. Otherwise, enjoy the game!

20 Years Later 
___Conversation 1 (Couple): Before walking up to the checkpoint gate with Tess, talk to the couple standing at the newspaper boxes on the right.

Beyond the Wall 

___Artifact 1 (Boston Q.Z. Map): Automatically given once Joel collects his backpack.

___Artifact 2 (Military Pamphlet): Automatically given once Joel collects his backpack.

___Conversation 2 (Tess): After emerging from the underground, you'll be in a pizza shop. Follow Tess and exit, and talk to her right outside the door.

___Pendant 1: After using the ladder to get inside the house, follow Tess inside. Once she reaches the stairs, you should see a small bedroom to the right. Enter the bedroom and collect the pendant from the desk.

___Artifact 3 (Note to Brother): After dealing with your first Runners, go upstairs and enter the office off to the left. The artifact is on the small folding table.

___Pendant 2: After moving underneath the collapsed platform, but before following Tess through a doorway, you'll be in a small courtyard. To the left is a large tree, next to a white couch. The pendant is hanging from a tree branch. Use your gun to get it down.

The Slums 
___Artifact 4 (Drafting Notice): After passing through the bus, you'll be in a small area with a man leaning against the wall on the right. Don't approach him just yet; instead, pick up the artifact from the ground on the left. It is in a puddle in front of a table with yellow containers underneath it.

___Artifact 5 (Wanted Poster): Directly past Artifact 4 on the green wall, to the left of the two people leaning on the fence.

___Artifact 6 (Warehouse Key): After the "tutorial" on shooting, you'll come up to another area with 4 enemies. Tess will help you kill them. Once the last one is dead, he will automatically drop a Warehouse Key, which is Artifact 6.

The Cargo 
___Artifact 7 (Shipping Manifest): After reaching the wharf, carefully move to the right towards the railing. The artifact will be on the ground, right in front of a crate filled with colored clothes.

___Artifact 8 (Docks Note): Before moving into the back office where Robert entered, and after killing all the guards in the area, locate the right side of the ship. The artifact is on the ground behind a crate that is against the railing. Look for two green barrels next to it.

___Pendant 3: As soon as the cutscene with Ellie ends, walk across the street and locate the corpse sitting up against the newspaper boxes. The pendant is on the ground next to its hand.

Outside 

___Conversation 3 (Tess): At the start of the chapter, talk to Tess at the window.

___Artifact 9 (Tess's List): After talking to Tess (which triggers her to move the bookcase), turn around and pick up the artifact off the table with the lantern.

___Artifact 10 (Patrol Routes Map): After taking the lift down, immediately turn right and pick up the artifact off the floor.

Downtown 
___Artifact 11 (Evacuation Leaflet): Once the cutscene ends after escaping several areas with soldiers, you'll emerge on the street in front of a highway sign. Follow Tess and Ellie up the collapsed highway, where you'll emerge on an intersection. Locate the right corner of the street which has a sign labeled "Fourth-street West 99-0" on the corner pole. The artifact is directly under the sign. If Ellie says 'Uh, what the hell what that?" then you've gone too far.

___Pendant 4: Once you reach the "Boylstone Building" sign (it is missing letters), head forward into the small courtyard. The pendant is hanging from the last tree on the left. Use the nearby brick to knock it down, or use your gun.

___Conversation 4 (Tess and Ellie): Just after entering the Boylstone building, talk to them about the corpse in the hallway as soon as you enter.

___Artifact 12 (Field Ops Log): Enter the building and you'll see a corpse on the ground right in front of a set of stairs. Head up those stairs and you'll see another corpse leaning against the wall. The artifact is next to its hand.

___Artifact 13 (Firefly Map): After your run in with a group of enemies(a Clicker and three Runners), you'll move through the building and into a collapsed subway. When you come upon a Firefly corpse (Tess will point it out), locate the blocked set of stairs to its right. Atop the stairs on the right is another corpse with the artifact near its hand.

___Artifact 14 (Note to Derek): This one can be tricky to get if you aren't careful. Once you are in the area with many Clickers and Runners, stay behind cover. Wait until the two nearby Clickers come near each other and use a brick/bottle to lure them together and into the opening ahead. Throw a molotov at them once they are close enough together, but wait and make sure two other Clickers don't come over as well. If they do, shiv one or both, or simply move past them and move into the small shop on the left. Towards the back is a small counter. The artifact is located in the drawer underneath the cash register. *Note: This artifact has a safe code on it. The safe is located directly across from the shop in a small collapsed store, but be careful of the remaining Runners and Clickers in the area. There is also a Runner standing right next to the safe, so take care of her before attempting to open the safe.

Museum 
___Artifact 15 (Medical Pamphlet): After climbing over the tractor trailer that blocked the street, turn around and enter the trailer. The artifact is on the floor inside.

___Pendant 5: After you climb the collapsed floor to reach the 2nd floor, look to the left. You should see a small ledge underneath the window. Shimmy along the ledge until you reach the end and pick up the pendant from the display case.

___Conversation 5 (Tess): After fighting many Runners on the top floor of the museum, talk to Tess after exiting outside through window.

___Conversation 6 (Ellie): After fighting many Runners on the top floor of the museum, talk to Ellie after exiting outside through the window.

The Capitol Building 
___Artifact 16 (Firefly Orders): After exiting the museum and crossing over the building using a plank, head downstairs and immediately turn around. Locate the corpse next to the stairs and pick up the artifact next to its hand.

___Pendant 6: Move down the street and into the lovely green water. You'll see a small circular building ahead on the left, just past a flooded taxi. Climb inside the building and pick up the pendant within the water.

*Note: Grab these next two collectibles BEFORE using the pallet and ladder to help Ellie across the water.

___Artifact 17 (Smuggler Note): Swim trough the deep water in the subway. Joel will call for Ellie, who will tell him she is fine. Locate the small platform with stairs on the left. The artifact is next to a corpse on this platform. Look for "Track 6" on a pillar next to the platform if you get lost.

___Pendant 7: Directly next to Artifact 17 is a narrow underwater passage. Swim underneath the debris and you'll emerge in a submerged room. Dive below and locate the shelving units on the left inside the small workroom. The pendant is on one of the shelves.

  The Woods 

___Artifact 18 (Pills Note): Inside the small building in the area after using the plank to cross. It is on the floor of a small office near crafting supplies. Two Clickers sit outside, so be careful. If you get to a gate where Ellie says, "Here, boost me up," you've gone too far.

___Conversation 7 (Ellie): After boosting Ellie over the gate, enter the pizzeria across the street. Approach the arcade machine near the window and Ellie will prompt a conversation about it.

___Pendant 8: After boosting Ellie over the gate, head right past the evacuation sign and towards the RV. Jump onto the police car next to the RV and jump onto the roof. The pendant is towards the back of the roof.

___Artifact 19 (Note to Bob): Head past the RV and locate the giant barricade. The artifact is attached to it in some barbed wire. *This is a safe code. The safe is located behind you about halfway down the street. If you turn around, it is on the left behind a pickup truck.

___Artifact 20 (Perimeter Note): Inside the music store across the street from the RV. The artifact is on a small desk in the room behind the counter.

___Artifact 21 (Note to Rachel): Enter the building in the back alley with the banging door. Go upstairs and kill the runner that attacks you in the living room. On the right is a small table with "Rachel" written on the wall above it. The artifact is on the table.

The Safehouse 

___Artifact 22 (Bill's Map): As soon as the cutscene with Bill ends, turn around and pick up the artifact off the table.

___Artifact 23 (Fences Note): Enter the small office behind you in the bar and pick up the artifact off the coffee table.

___Training Manual 1: On the bar inside Bill's safehouse.

___Conversation 8 (Ellie): Approach the chess set on the table to the left in the bar and Ellie will prompt a conversation. Bill's reaction is worth triggering it.

___Artifact 24 (Hunter's Note): After following Bill upstairs, turn right and enter the small living area. The artifact is on the table.

___Pendant 9: After taking care if the Clickers and Runner on the street, move to the far right corner near the "Hardtail Hanks" sign. The pendant is hanging from the telephone pole right in front of the sign. Do not follow Bill through the gate before getting the pendant or he will close it behind you.

Graveyard 

___Artifact 25 (Bombs Note): Follow Bill into the church after the cutscene and after acquiring the Nail Bomb. Turn right at the prayer pedestal and grab the artifact off the table in Bill's room. Do not exit through the stained glass window or you will miss it.

___Pendant 10: After dealing with several Runners and Clickers, you'll enter an alley with 3 Runners facing away from you. Kill them, then take care of the Clicker and 2 Runners in the yard. Enter the house in this yard and pick up the pendant on top of the dryer in the laundry room.

___Artifact 26 (Boy's Diary): This artifact is in the large house you explore after climbing over the RV and walking through the treehouse. Head upstairs and into the child's room on the right. The artifact is sitting on the bench under the window.

___Conversation 9 (Ellie): Ellie will prompt a conversation in the same child's room where Artifact 26 is located.

High School Escape 

___Artifact 27 (Note From Frank): After the cutscene with Bill in the house, after escaping the Bloater in the high school, search the house. Behind the corpse is a room. On the table to the right in here is the artifact.

___Artifact 28 (Note From Frank): Go to the garage and give Bill the note. Pick it back up when he crumples it and throws it on the ground.

___Conversation 10 (Bill): Giving Bill the note from Frank prompts this conversation.

___Conversation 11 (Ellie): After speaking to Bill and picking up the crumpled note, speak to Ellie and she will prompt a conversation in the truck.

___Artifact 29 (Siphon Hose): Automatically given at the end of the chapter.

Alone and Foresaken  
 
___Comic 1: Automatically given at the beginning of the chapter.

___Artifact 30 (Tourists Manifest): After the fight with the hunters, enter the garage with Ellie. The note will be on an overturned shelf on the right.

___Conversation 12 (Ellie): After the fight with the hunters, enter the garage with Ellie. She will walk up to a pile of bodies, which will prompt a conversation from her.

___Training Manual 2: From the garage, walk up the stairs in the stairwell and enter the hunters' sleeping area. Locate the mattress on the left and you should see the manual on a shelf next to it.

___Artifact 31 (Ambush Map): Enter the small room adjacent to the sleeping quarters (not the door next to the window). Pick up the artifact hanging on the wall in here.

___Comic 2: Exit the building and climb down to the street. Turn right and enter the bus on the right. The comic is on the floor in the back.

___Conversation 13 (Ellie): Behind the bus is a car with a body hanging out of it. Approach the car and wait for Ellie to prompt a conversation about it.

___Ellie's Joke 1: After you see the three hunters on the street, and they leave, approach the bus they walked off of. Ellie will tell Joel they can climb over the bus. Before doing so, stand near her and wait a few seconds. The prompt will appear on her so make sure to approach her and press "Triangle."

___Conversation 14 (Ellie): After climbing over the bus, head right towards the graffiti. Stand near the graffiti and Ellie will prompt a conversation about it.

___Artifact 32 (Lost Hill Note): After climbing over the bus, head right towards the graffiti. Jump over the sand bags and pick up the artifact in the ticket booth under the counter.

___Artifact 33 (Traitors Flyer): After you kill the three hunters in the tent, locate the bridge above where you entered. The artifact is hanging on the middle wall.

___Pendant 11: Locate the dark alley all the way in the back right (do not enter the store yet). The pendant is at the end of the alley near the garbage canisters. Be careful of the hunters near the door next to the pendant.

___Ellie's Joke 2: Once all the enemies are dead, hang around Ellie for a minute before searching for any collectibles. She will eventually prompt a joke, so make sure you are nearby.

___Artifact 34 (Abandon Zone Note): After eliminating the 4 enemies on the first floor, locate the small office in the back corner. The artifact is in the first room with the window looking into the store, on a table.

___Artifact 35 (Applicant Checklist): Locate the staircase nearest the front entrance of the shop on the right. The artifact is on top of a stack of crates underneath the stairs.

___Artifact 36 (Lost Areas Map): Head upstairs to the 2nd floor and locate the small counter/food area in the back right corner. Use a shiv to open the door next to it and enter. The artifact is on the shelf.

___Ellie's Joke 3 & Conversation 15: After the short cutscene with the soldiers moving the plank, turn around and approach the store windows on the right. Ellie will prompt a conversation about the skinny model. Once she finishes, she will circle around the area, then pull out her joke book. This counts as a conversation and a joke.

___Artifact 37 (Mother's Letter): Locate the door with e red "X" painted on it. The door is under a blue awning behind a blue truck, just before the water. Use a shiv to open it, then pick up the artifact from the chair inside.

___Artifact 38 (Stash Note): Swim into the open trailer on the left when using the pallet to help Ellie climb the trailer. Once inside, swim into the open corridor and head upstairs. Head around the corner and pick up the artifact from the table.

Hotel Lobby 

___Conversation 16 (Joel): As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, turn left and go towards the coffee machine near the counter. Joel will make a comment about the machine when you press Triangle on it.

___Artifact 39 (Note to Staff): Once you have the ladder, place it near the landing with the "Hard Hat Area" sign. Climb up, then turn right and hug the left wall as you walk over the collapsed floor. On the other side is an open suitcase on the floor with the artifact inside.

___Training Manual 3: From the last artifact, drop down to the first floor and go behind the concierge desk on the left. The safe is in the second room, and the manual is inside.

___Ellie's Joke 4: Quickly return to Ellie, who should be waiting for you next to the ladder on the second floor. Climb the ladder and wait for her to prompt the joke.

___Conversation 17 (Ellie): After eliminating all the enemies in the first section of the hotel, locate the window with a smiley face spray painted on the wall next to it. Enter this window, then use the furniture in this room to climb to the second floor. Enter the room directly ahead and enter the bathroom. Ellie will prompt a conversation about the two bodies in the bathtub.

___Artifact 40 (Hotel Keycard): Must be obtained in order to proceed through the chapter. Obtained when Joel is by himself in the basement, right before his encounter with Stalkers. It is in the security room, on the desk. Picking it up triggers 4 Stalkers to attack.

___Comic 3: This comic is found after you reunite with Ellie. Climb the ladder to the presentation room, hang a left through the next door and you'll be in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. Slide along the right portion of the collapsed flooring ahead and pick up the comic on the far coffee table on the left.

___Pendant 12: Head downstairs from the 2nd floor of the hotel and enter the women's bathroom. The pendant is in the corner stall on the floor near the toilet seat.

___Training Manual 4: Exit the bathroom and move left down the hall. The manual is on a desk in the middle of the hall, just past the elevators.

___Conversation 18 (Ellie): When you enter the large ballroom with the piano it in, move towards the photo scene with the tropical backdrop on the right. Ellie will prompt a conversation about it once she gets near it. You have to prompt a conversation with her three times in order to get the full conversation.

Financial District 

___Conversation 19 (Ellie): Once you have killed the Hunters in the immediate area, locate the hung hunter from the tree towards the beginning of the street, on the left. Ellie will prompt a conversation about it.

___Artifact 41 (Fireflies Note): Once you have killed the Hunters in the immediate area, enter Don Fiocchi Subs on the right, down from Rivers Cafe. Move inside the freezer in the back and pick up the artifact on the floor.

___Artifact 42 (Final Attack Note): After the cutscene where two Hunters mow down two tourists, head upstairs and kill the two Hunters up here. Once they are dead, head inside the well-lit office on the left and pick up the artifact under the far desk, next to the window.

___Artifact 43 (Mob Attack Note): Once you reach the street with traps, enter the first building on the right. Kill the Hunters in here and pick up the artifact under the receptionists desk in the far right corner, just before a set of stairs.

___Artifact 44 (Truck Note): Once all the Hunters on the street are dead, head inside the "Rations Depot/H&L Credit Union." On the desk to the right is the artifact, and a shiv door is in the back room.

___Conversation 20 (Ellie): After pulling down the fire escape ladder and climbing over the barricade, move towards the building on the right. Ellie will prompt a conversation about the military school sign on the gate.

___Conversation 21 (Ellie): Directly across the street on the wall is a movie poster for "Dawn of the Wolf." Move next to it to prompt a conversation with Ellie about it.

Escape in the City 

___Training Manual 5: After the cutscene with Henry and Sam, enter the kitchen. The manual is on the counter.

___Comic 4: Follow Henry and Sam down one flight of stairs. Use a shiv to open the door ahead and pick up the comic from the chair in the kids room.

___Pendant 13: After killing the two Hunters on the roof with the vents, you'll enter a small office. Go into the bathroom in here on the left. The pendant is in the corner stall, on top of the toilet tank. Do not follow Henry into the large office on the right or he will shut the door behind you.

___Artifact 45 (Trial Note): Once you enter the large office area, head past the desks and enter the conference room ahead. The artifact is on the floor in the right corner.

Chapter 6

Sewers   

___Comic 5: On the beach, locate the large fishing boat on the right. Enter the bridge and pick up the comic on the console.

___Artifact 46 (Boat Note): This is right next to comic 5.

___Pendant 14: Drop through the hole in the boat and pick up the pendant from behind the fishing net, sitting on some lobster trap cages.

___Pendant 15: After entering the sewer, locate the small raised opening on the right filled with flowing water. Enter the small flooded chamber and pick up the pendant on the left, next to some crafting supplies.

___Artifact 47 (Sewers Note): After Ellie moves the crate and lets you inside the storage room, pick up the artifact off the small table in here.

___Pendant 16: The group will enter a large flooded room with a caved-in ceiling. Jump into the water to the left and pick up the pendant underwater near the submerged car's hood.

___Artifact 48 (Trading Note): Once you remove the debris from the underwater gear, swim through the gate and climb the ladder on the left. Two Clickers are inside the next room. Quickly kill them, then pick up the artifact next to the mattress inside.

___Training Manual 6: After the sound trap, jump over the debris, pick up the Shorty weapon from the table on the left, then pick up the manual from the shelves on the left.

___Artifact 49 (Rain Catcher Note): After killing the 3 Runners and Clicker, enter the small room on the right. Towards the back, on the table with the canisters and containers, is the artifact.

___Artifact 50 (Cornered Note): Now head up the large set of stairs and enter the door at the top on the left, behind the blue lawn chair. The artifact is next to the corpse in the corner.

___Artifact 51 (Kid's Drawing): After you are separated from the group and many Stalkers ambush you, head into the laundry area/classroom all the way in the back. Next to the easel and drawing board is the artifact, on the bookshelf.

Suburbs 

___Artifact 52 (Looting Note): The group will walk along the street and stop at a red brick house. Go inside and head upstairs. The artifact is on an end table in the corner bedroom.

___Ellie's Joke 5 and Conversation 22-24: This is the final joke, and it requires a little bit of work to trigger. You'll have to trigger four separate conversations (three of which count as actual conversations) in order to trigger her joke. After exploring the first brick house, exit out the back yard, go left up the stairs, and enter the kitchen with the huge hole. This triggers 1/4 conversations about Henry and BBQs. Next, walk down the street and you'll see a house with 'Will Shoot on Sight" written high on the outside wall. Approach Henry and talk to him when prompted to trigger conversation 2/4. Continue down the street and the kids will approach an ice cream truck in the middle of the road. Ellie will ask Joel about it, so talk to her when prompted to trigger conversation 3/4. Finally, head down the street until you reach a dead end. Henry will point out the Firefly symbol painted on the wall, prompting the 4th and final conversation (this does not count towards the conversations). Wait a few moments and Ellie will pull out her joke book. Once she is finished, you should get the trophy "That's All I Got."

___Training Manual 7: Backtrack down the road and enter the red brick house up the steps on the right. Head upstairs, pull the attic cord, then boost Ellie into the attic. She will return with the manual.

___Artifact 53 (Father's Note): Turn around and enter the master bedroom. The artifact is on the dresser next to the tv.

___Conversation 25 (Ellie and Sam): Head inside the white house next door and enter the living room. Sometimes the conversation will trigger automatically, but sometimes you need to walk up to the third floor first to get it to trigger. Sam and Ellie will start playing darts in the living room, so approach them to prompt the conversation. When they finish, pick up the dart on the stool and throw it. This concludes the conversation.

___Artifact 54 (Survivor's Note): Head inside the white house next door and go upstairs. Inside the first bedroom is the artifact on a table.

___Comic 6: Enter the bathroom is this same room and pick up the comic off the toilet tank.

___Artifact 55 (Matchbook): Climb up to the third floor and pick up the artifact from the dresser next to the stair. *This is a safe code. The safe is downstairs in the other bedroom.

___Pendant 17: This pendant is in the backyard of the white house, hanging from a tree branch above the swings. It can be hard to spot in the sunlight, but its there.

Chapter 7

  Hydroelectric Dam 

___Comic 7: Climb down the rocks to reach the river. Turn right and climb the rocks. On the right is a crashed car. The comic is on the ground in front of it. If you walk underneath a log, you've gone too far.

___Conversation 26 (Ellie): After crossing the dam, drop off the small ledge to the left. Jump over the fallen tree and approach the small grave ahead. Ellie will prompt a conversation about it.

___Artifact 56 (Power Plant Map): When you reach the gate to the Power Plant, there will be a small brick security house to the left. Inside on the wall is the artifact. Do not attempt to open the main gate before getting this collectible or a cutscene will trigger.

___Conversation 27 (Ellie): After entering the dam area, Tommy and Maria will begin showing you around. When you reach the horses, Ellie will prompt a conversation about them.

___Conversation 28 (Female Sniper): When you reach the long metal walkway with Tommy, head right and approach the woman holding a sniper rifle. Talk to her to prompt the conversation.

___Training Manual 8: After following Tommy into the control room with the "two geniuses," walk towards the control panel where the worker sits. The manual is on the panel to the left.

___Pendant 18: Exit the control room and descend the stairs on the left. At the bottom, enter the room on the right and pick up the pendant in the cabinet.

___Artifact 57 (Plant Schematics): While fighting the bandits, make your way back to the control room and pick up the artifact off the center table where the "geniuses" were.

Ranch House 

___Pendant 19: Once you reach Ellie at the Hidden Pines Corral, walk inside and into the far corner room on the 1st floor. The pendant is on a desk in here, next to the door on the left.

___Comic 8: Head upstairs and enter the first room on the left. The comic is on the bench under the window.

Go Big Horns 

___Comic 9: Once the cutscene ends and the chapter begins, immediately turn around and gallop to the end of the street. On the hood of the blue car in front of the white van is the comic.

___Artifact 58 (Sniper's Nest Log): Go into the campus, past the parking lot and stop just before the barbed wire barricade. Turn right and go into a small garage. Pick up the flamethrower, then head to the top of the stairs. Enter the door on the right and pick up the artifact between the two chairs on the balcony.

Conversation 29 (Ellie): Directly across from the garage, high up on the wall, is a big banner that says "Bighorns Welcome Home." Approach the banner on horseback and Ellie will prompt a conversation about it.

___Pendant 20: Climb the stairs to enter the main campus area. Turn right into a dead end. Hanging from the yellow-leaved tree on the right in the corner is the pendant. It can be really hard to spot in the leaves.

___Artifact 59 (Wall Panel Note): After Joel briefly separates from Ellie when he hears a noise, walk right towards the locked gate. On the left, next to the panel on the wall, is the artifact.

___Pendant 21: Use the panel to open the gate, then head into the courtyard and go left. Dismount after climbing the stairs but before jumping the barricade. Locate the overturned dumpster on the right and use it to climb into the room. The pendant is on a desk on the far right.

___Training Manual 19: Once you're in the courtyard where Ellie points out the monkeys, head over to the building on the right. Dismount the horse and enter the open window. Climb the stairs, then jump onto the roof from the window. Enter the adjacent room on the left and pick up the manual on the counter to the right.

___Conversation 30 (Ellie): Locate the door with the furniture barricade in it. Do not pass through just yet; instead, locate one of the several Firefly emblems spray-painted on the walls nearby. It may take a few tries to trigger it, but getting near one will prompt a conversation with Ellie.

___Artifact 60 (UEC Campus Map): After crawling under the furniture barricade in the doorway, pick up the artifact from the desk directly in front of you.

___Artifact 61 (Student's Journal): Climb the stairs to the second floor and enter Room 201 on the left. Cross through the bathroom and enter Room 202. Search the drawer near the door for the artifact.

___Pendant 22: After defeating the 4 Clickers and Bloater in the dorm common area, pick up the pendant from the Bloater's body.

___Artifact 62 (Newspaper Clipping): After climbing back to the 2nd floor, enter Room 209 on the right. The artifact is on the mini-fridge.

___Pendant 23: After reaching the lab courtyard, head left and go all the way down to the last tent. The pendant is inside on a table.

Science Building 

___Training Manual 10: Once you're inside the science building, head down to the end of the hallway and use a shiv to open the door on the right. The manual is inside on the table.

___Conversation 31 (Ellie): After entering the science building and walking along the balcony to reach the stairwell, you'll see a pallet with Firefly packages and luggage on it. On top of it is a clipboard. Investigate the clipboard to prompt a conversation with Ellie.

___Artifact 63 (Office Recorder): As soon as you climb to the third floor, enter the door on the left. Immediately enter the room on the left and pick up the artifact on the table.

___Artifact 64 (Fungal X-Rays): After crouching through the small tent tunnel, turn left and pick up the artifact from the table next to the window.

___Artifact 65 (Lab Recorder): In the room with the monkeys, the artifact is on a table to the right.

___Pendant 24: On a shelf behind the table with Artifact 65. It is on a small shelf attached to the wall at about face level.

___Artifact 66 (Firefly Recorder): This is automatically picked up by Joel when you enter the next room and trigger a cutscene.

The Hunt 

___Artifacts 67-75 (No Pun Intended, No Pun Intended: Volume Two, To Get to the Other Side, Riley's Pendant, Sam's Robot, Walkman, Note from Mom, Switchblade, and Joel & Sara Photo): At the very beginning of the chapter, open Ellie's backpack and look at the 9 items inside. Examine and read each one to make sure they count, and don't forget to flip "Note from Mom."

___Comic 10: After following the deer's blood trail to the crumbling building, you'll see a room on the left as soon as you enter. The comic is in a drawer in a desk. Do not exit the building and head towards the deer until you get the comic or a cutscene will trigger.

___Pendant 25: After David boosts you up to the walkway, cross over to the other side but be careful of the Clicker. The pendant is on a wooden crate in the room the Clicker came out of, so kill it and pick it up.

___Conversation 32 (David): Ellie and David will enter a room after running down a long indoor bridge, where you'll soon face a barrage of enemies. Before that happens, move to the right, collect the copious supplies, and discuss the bodies with David.

___Pendant 26: After retreating to the cabin, kill any enemies that enter and carefully make your way to the front. Exit, then head right towards the gazebo. The pendant is on a bench in the gazebo.

___Comic 11: After climbing to the trail and crawling through the first pipe, immediately go left and up the stairs. The comic is on the bench facing the water.

Cabin Resort 

___Artifact 76 (Lake Resort Map): Automatically given when Joel interrogates the survivors.

___Training Manual 11: After Ellie's fight with David, you'll regain control of Joel. There are 7 enemies in total in the immediate area: 5 patrol the area and 2 stand guard towards the back. Locate the motel directly across the street from the gas station. Jump through the open window of the bathroom in the first motel room, then use a shiv to open the door on the left. The manual is inside.

___Artifact 77 (Ellie's Backpack): Automatically given when Joel reaches the meat locker.

___Artifact 78 (Meat Ledger): On the shelf right next to Artifact 77.

  Highway Exit 

___Conversation 33 (Ellie): At the beginning of the chapter, follow Ellie as Joel talks to her about learning guitar. When he stops talking, you'll be able to prompt another conversation with her.

___Artifact 79 (Family Photograph): Walk down the road and enter the RV in the middle of the road. The artifact is on the table in the back.

___Conversation 34 (Ellie): After you exit the RV, Ellie will be standing next to the bus staring at the advertisements on its side. She'll mention flying, which will then prompt a conversation. If it doesn't prompt, walk back into the RV and walk back out. It may take a few tries to make it prompt.

___Pendant 27: Continue down and take the exit ramp. Make an immediate left at the school bus, wrap around the car at the end of the railing and pick up the pendant next to the orange barrels.

___Artifact 80 (Note to Wife): Climb over the bus and drop down past the barricade. Enter the bus depot on the left, head down the left stairs, and pick up the artifact from the suitcase in the corner.

___Conversation 35 (Ellie): After entering the bus depot, locate the ladder on the top floor on the right. Press Triangle to discuss the ladder, then wait for Ellie to sit down on the bench behind you. Talk to her when the prompt appears.

___Conversation 36 (Ellie): After chasing Ellie to the giraffe on the balcony, walk up to the giraffe and pet it to prompt a conversation.

___Conversation 37 (Ellie): Continue following Ellie until you reach

___Comic 12: After seeing the giraffes on the balcony, enter the stairwell and descend into the large waiting area. Enter the men's bathroom on the right and pick up the comic on the floor next to the corpse.

___Pendant 28: Once you reach the large triage zone, locate the large tent towards the middle of the area on the left. Just beyond that is an overturned dumpster, a porta-jon, and a light fixture. The pendant is hanging from the light fixture.

___Artifact 81 (Salt Lake Q.Z. Map): Locate the tent in the far right corner of the triage zone. In here is a workbench and the artifact, which is on the table on the left.

___Conversation 38 (Ellie): Locate a bus on the far end of the triage zone. Before walking through it, Ellie will tell you she has something for you. Talk to her to prompt the final conversation. Congrats, this should trigger the trophy "I Want To Talk About It."

___Pendant 29: After walking through the bus, head left and you'll see another bus. Circle around it and pick up the pendant on the ground.

Underground Tunnel 

___Training Manual 12: When you exit the maintenance room and encounter two Bloaters and more Clickers and Runners, look for the trailer directly across from the door you exited the maintenance room from. Sunlight will be shining on the trailer, and a lion symbol is spray-painted on its top. The manual is sitting on the top of the trailer. This is the last manual in the game, and you should get the trophy 'I Got This."

___Comic 13: After swimming underneath the fire truck, climb on top of it and climb onto the vents along the left wall. The comic is at the end of the vent.

The Hospital 

___Artifact 82 (Surgeon's Recorder): After killing many enemies, you'll reach a door to the stairwell with a green exit sign above it. Head all the way up to the 6th floor, enter, and pick up the artifact on the counter directly in front of you.

___Artifact 83 (Marlene's Recorder 1): At the entrance to the 6th floor, turn right and enter the small room on the right. The artifact is on the desk to the right.

___Pendant 30: There is a shiv door behind the desk where artifact 82 was. Enter it and pick up the pendant inside. This is the last pendant, which should trigger the trophy 'Look for the Light."

___Artifact 84 (Marlene's Journal): Enter the double doors behind the shiv door room and pick up the artifact off the table in the back of the lit tent in the middle of the room.

___Artifact 85 (Marlene's Recorder 2): After you enter the Pediatrics Ward and barricade the door, enter Room 608 on the right and pick up the artifact on the back table. This is the last artifact, and it should trigger the trophy 'It Was All Just Lying There."

___Comic 14: After passing through the barbed wire fence, look for an abandoned truck ahead against the wall in the small meadow. The comic is on the driver's seat. This is the last comic, and it should trigger the trophies "Endure and Survive" and "Scavenger" for collecting everything.
